Massive apologies for the late hour for this review, it would seem that our original post was corrupted by those pesky cyber gremlins! Fingers crossed this post is now in full working order.

Save the day for Ada May is a super fun and interactive story book, designed to be flipped, tipped, shook and tapped.

My 4 year old say it was the best book ever!

We both giggled at the mischievous Ada May getting up to all sorts.

Lily-May loved turning and twisting the book as we read the story, she even asked her Dad to read it again the following evening…. always a winner when that happens. I don’t remember reading a book that has the reader interacting with the book is this way, Lily-May thoroughly enjoyed helping to ‘save’ Ada May from all her mishaps.

The colours are bright, bold and draw the eye. The illustrations are beautifully done and Lily-May loved that Ada May had a name like hers.

A fun read for both child and parent 😁

Elizabeth Dale always dreamed of being a writer, but somehow got side-tracked into studying for a physics degree. When her children were born, she returned to her dream and found she loved writing children’s books more than anything. She loves traveling and seeking inspiration for her stories wherever she goes. Having seen what a wonderful life she leads, two of her daughters have grown up to be children’s authors, too.

Elizabeth lives in rural West Sussex, where she sits with her laptop keeping her knees warm and looks out at the garden, letting her imagination run riot, exploring the child within and trying never to grow old.

She has had over two thousand stories (teenage and adult) published all over the world and has had more than seventy children’s books published/commissioned.

Illustrator – Patrick Corrigan.

Patrick Corrigan was born on a crisp, cold December day in a small, cloudy town in Cheshire, England. With a passion for precision as a child, he grew up patiently drawing and designing arts and crafts.

This took him to study ceramics at University, train as an art teacher and eventually become an Art Director at a busy design studio where he worked for nearly 10 years. Whilst there he honed his skills working on well over 500 educational and picture books for children as well as animations and branding.

Patrick uses Photoshop, Illustrator and sometimes even real art equipment to create his work. He specialises in illustrating picture books for younger readers and draws best when listening to podcasts and drinking green tea.
